September 16, 2021

Happy Thursday, Fam, from P-town! Since I’m in a full-on vacation mindset, we won’t be expanding on last week’s Newsletter except to talk about this week’s featured TT! guest.

The Center will be closed beginning September 16th and will reopen on October 12th.

TriVersity Talk! featuring Alexis Hunter

LIVE on Thursday, September 16th at 7 pm ET, TriVersity Talk! welcomes artist, couture jewelry designer, and author Alexis Hunter, AKA Rachel Lansing. Alexis is the author of Joi Lansing – A Body to Die For. Join us as we discuss Alex’s life, love, and talents. We will also dive into other important topics such as surviving as an LGBTQ actor, body dysmorphia, and the costs of trying to stay relevant in a beauty-obsessed Hollywood.

You can watch LIVE by heading to one of 3 fabulous places: Facebook, YouTube, or our website! After the show, the episode is archived on YouTube and our website using the same links. To learn more about Alexis, head to any of the links above!

Perspectives on PrEP – Connecting Communities + Clinicians

Having constructive, judgment-free conversations about sexual health can be uncomfortable and difficult at first, but they’re essential to preventing HIV and other sexually transmitted infections and ending the HIV epidemic. Join Allison Agwu, MD, Justin Alves, RN, and a group of patients on Thursday, September 23rd at 1 pm ET for a live webinar discussing how patients and providers can connect to prevent HIV infection by using PrEP, a medication that prevents HIV. You will hear perspectives from people who are currently using PrEP, including why they chose to use PrEP and the barriers that they overcame to access it.
