Wendy Stuart-Kaplan – Vice President, Outreach
This “born and raised” in the Bronx girl has been serving the LGBTQ+ community for decades. As a performer and model, I have also been involved in LGBTQ+ club and bar culture for decades supporting these businesses and the other performers that entertain in them.
*Currently I’m the host of “Triversity Talk” a weekly webcast show I developed, focusing on topics, activism, advocates, and those in the arts in the LGBTQ+ community
*Original Board member of “Triversity the Pride Center” servicing the rural areas of PA, NY, and NJ, currently tabling and planning events.
*Member of The Imperial Court of NY “Countess Wendy Darling” (Discountess Wendy Darling to those who really know her).
*Currently Host along with Co Host Tym Moss of the weekly webcast “If These Walls Could Talk” currently available on UBCTV and Glewed TV.
In the 80’s as a board member of POWERS (Pet Owners With AIDS Resource Service) taking care of the pets of our clients who had HIV or AIDS, tabling street fairs, and giving events.
Looking back there was never a time since I was 20 that I wasn’t serving in the LGBTQ+ community. It is an honor to be able to continue to do so.
